Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, we made the difficult decision to put all events on hold for the foreseeable future. Our top priority is the health and safety of our staff, clients, family, and friends, which is what led us to make this choice. We look forward to the day when we will be able to safely reconvene to connect in person and learn from one another. On January 1, 2022, some members of the XS Brokers team dove right into the new year – literally! The team, otherwise known as the XSB “Polar Bears,” plunged into the Atlantic Ocean in South Boston.
Why you ask? For a good cause, of course! XS Brokers raised money to benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in honor of Bobbi Jo Constanzo, an individual near and dear to the XS Brokers family. The Dana Farber Cancer Institute is located in Boston and is committed to cancer treatment and cutting-edge research.
$14,500 was raised and XS Brokers matched and tripled that with a $43,500 donation making the total $58,000. The money will go towards cancer care and research.

In January, XS Brokers’ Leadership hosted their annual business meeting forum. Underwriters, Brokers and Business Development Managers reviewed the prior year’s performance and charted the course for the new year. The three-day session addressed long-term strategy objectives, conducted group breakout sessions tackling key issues and celebrated staff achievements and milestones.

On April 4th 2019, the XS Brokers team was in Buffalo to attend I-Day, one of the largest one-day conventions in the country. Ian Donegan, Peter Buccinna, Mike McKinley, Scott Burns and Sean McVicker were there meeting many of the 1,300 guests and 125 exhibitors at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. The Insurance Club of Buffalo invited the leading insurance purchasers, decision-makers, and industry representatives including Keynote speaker Jack Nicklaus, The Golden Bear.
